large wild goat (Capra ibex nubiana), with adults being about ninety centimeters high at the shoulder; grayish coat most of the year but browner in winter; males have thick horns over 130 centimeters long which curve backwards in a semicircle; female horns are slimmer and shorter, about 40 centimeters; lives in small herds in the mountains and prefers cliffs and crags; eats leaves of bushes that grow on the ledges; clean animal, may be eaten
